This workshop runs over two and half hours. You will learn to make a mug using handbuiding techniques and surface decoration including slips, sgraffito and stamp work. You will be lead step by step through the process of making.
Each person will have 2 mugs glazed and fired with our in-house glaze.
This class is for all abilities.
What to bring? All tools and materials will be provided along with an apron. Wearing old clothes that can get mucky is advisable.
Collection: Ceramic work will be ready 4 weeks after the final workshop to allow time for pieces to be dried, fired, and glazed. Pots can be collected from the studio at CAST during Open Access Sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings 5:30pm – 8:30pm and Friday afternoons 1:30pm – 4:30pm.
